Trevor McMillan
Drill Instructor
Woodwind Instructor

Trevor McMillan is a native of McLean, Virginia. He is a recent graduate of VT with a B.A. in history and a music performance. A saxophone player for over 15 years, McMillan has performed in Carnegie Hall and at the Collegiate Band Director's National Association (CBDNA) Conference in Tampa, Fl. with the Virginia Tech Wind Ensemble as principal alto saxophone. He has marched both in high school and in the Marching Virginians - where he served as section leader for two years in each. McMillan has also taught marching techniques for an additional four years. An aspiring drill writer, McMillan has written marching band shows for Pulaski High School, McLean High School (his alma mater), and Giles High School.


Outside of his academic and marching career, McMillan teaches private saxophone lessons. In his free time, you can find him attending flight school, traveling, hiking, or relaxing at home with his two dogs.
